I should also mention the memory usage. I have run Xinerama in the
past with no big issues; I had 3 heads on 19" monitors, and didn't
notice any issues. However, as it stands with my 2 heads now, Xorg's
memory usage is ridiculous!

Xorg uses 1.2gb of RAM! Mozilla, Kopete, FireFox, and Thunderbird all
together are using 257mb of RAM -- what the hell!!
When I was running triple headed, my virt res was 3456x864 24-bit.
Right now my res is 3520x1200 24-bit (about 3.7mb more of 2D composited
RAM, for 12.6mb total of video RAM required). It's not that much more,
so why is Xorg needing to hog over half my RAM?
