Slow behaviour in KDE text fields under Xinerama

        I recently upgraded my monitor, and now have two. Xinerama was not an
issue to setup (and OpenGL even works, thanks to the fact that I have an
nVidia card), but scrolling in KDE text areas is horrendous. It looks
like they use some kind of 'smooth scrolling' that causes grief to the X
layer. Moving my mouse wheel up'n'down pegs CPU usage at 100% (on my
AMD64) and causes the rest of the screens to not update. I haven't been
able to track down a way to disable the offending behaviour :/
