The thing is often I'll leave a shell idling and in the later after
noon cycle through all the open ones and close the remote ones I no
longer need. So thats when I see the hanging and I've already
forgotten what that specific shell was doing; I might open three
shells to one host to work on something, so is the hanging shell the
one that was running vi, tail, or something else?
Next time I'll look into the server side and maybe strace the client
side and see what state everything is actually in.
