This has been bothering me for years, but I only recently figured out
how to reproduce it 100%. It seems that when I ssh to a server, then
execute a subshell of Midnight Commander (running under sudo, as in
"sudo mc -> execute script"), when I try to logout, I get a hang.
CTRL+D or exit show a logout, and sshing in shows that the server-side
SSH process has recycled, but the client-ssh on my desktop is still
waiting, sleeping on input.
Ideas on why this is?
