Yup.

So far, there have been a couple of caveats:
1) You need to reboot. Upgrading in-place leaves you with the wrong
kernel/kernel module in place. This was why my 3D stopped working
temporarily (grr).

2) If you like to sync a USB Palm Pilot, kiss that goodbye. usb_serial
in 2.6.15 has some kind of stupid bug in it. Rolling back to another
kernel is tricky enough that this means that casual users simply won't
be able to do it.

I've filed bugs for both.
