When you are trying to master the language and pronunciation, you'll
find that the tongue takes on a shape similar to both R and L when you
prononce the Japanese R. This isn't as true for the B, because they
simply don't have a V sound :)

Also, Scott mistyped SU-I-CHU as SHU-I-CHI -- SEW-EE-CHEW versus
SHOE-EE-CHEE, which sounds far less like the english switch ;)

Too bad we don't really have an Asian studies program at the U of S.
