main.cf and was asking a question about something back in 2001, and his
main reply was, "you have overconfigured your machine -- revert your
config to the vanilla one and try again."
Most of the defaults in Postfix are very sane, so what he says is true.
I have a larger postfix main because I have designed it to not play
well with any non-conformant SMTP client engines (SPAM bots, which have
half-assed implementations of the statemachine for sending mail -- Scott
and I were planning on adding a section to the wiki about how our
Postfix systems are setup to reject spam when we had time).
