The problem is that the KDE developers think that 2 different paths to
the same result is a good idea.

Going Configure -> Extensions, then disabling the 2 Google extensions
listed, removed them from the screen. There's no hint that these
extensions will be placed in the location toolbar inside the configure
location toolbar dialog. AFAIK, the only way to learn this is to go
file a bugreport and be told you're a stupid user (see also bug 120079
where a developer say it's not a bug).
Hopefully some well placed "I'm not happy with this" messages from users
will get the developers to go, "maybe we shouldn't do things in this
un-obvious way" :)
