Font size in Dapper

So I upgraded to Dapper last night, and it went well.

The only issue is that most of my fonts in X are too small. I'm using
the Ion window manager. I increased the size of the fonts specified
by Ion, and those are fine.

For whatever reason, the Firefox fonts didn't shrink. Shell fonts, OO
fonts, and such are easy to fix. That leaves Thunderbird.

In Thunderbird if I go into preferences and change the minimum font
size, the messages do become large enough. However the toolbar, menu,
folder list, and the pane with the subjects don't increase in size.
They're unuable right now.

Any ideas on how to fix them?
