I am sorry to hear you are having problems. However, thank you for
posting. I am running Dapper with an Nvidia card as my recording studio
[using a soundblaster live 5.1] with ALSA. With kernel 2.6.15-13 I also
had a major X-windows server loop happening. I have resorted to kernel
2.6.15-12. You can access that through the grub menu on boot. If you
find out more about upgrading, I would be interested in your results.
