The next monthly SLG meeting will be held on Wednesday April 26th at
7:30pm. Glenn Chubak has graciously offered to show us around
Geophysics on campus where he has been doing all sorts of exciting
Linux-based stuff, including doing seismic analysis using a 100 Opteron
cluster. (I hope I got that right. Glenn, please correct me if I'm wrong.)
In any case, the location will, obviously, not be my place. We will
meet in the Geology Building by the dinosaurs at 7:30pm and Glenn will
take us from there. Once we're done at Geophysics, we'll head over to
Louis' to... ummm... discuss what we've learned.
