linux wi-fi cards...

Hello all you linu guru's,

I am running RH9 (thanks again to Eve) on a few
computers including a dual-boot-laptop with winXP. I

have an SMP
wi-fi card that works great with windoze, but will not
work with linux no matter what I do (I am not a system
programmer and really can't write drivers to save my
life). It hasn't been a huge problem until recently,
but now I want a card that will work with linux.
Preferably something that will nearly autormatically
configure itself.

Any experience with what works and what doesn't?
Better
yet, any explicit instructions, including where to buy
and what to download?

Thanks,

Mark.
