Brand new topic: printing from xpdf

I'm using Mandrake 9.1

After several attempts to get Chinese support for Adobe Acrobat 5.x, I
went looking for the same for xpdf. When trying to install it, I
discovered that the newest version of xpdf, which came with 9.1, has CJK
support included.

So I loaded this piece that I'd gotten down from the web, and went about
trying to print it. With a notable lack of success.

Now, in the dialog that comes up when one hits the "print" icon, there
is and empty box labeled "print on command." Am I supposed to put
something in there? And if so, what?

Next is box entitled "print to file" which contains the path to the
piece I'm trying to print a part of.

When I hit the "Print" button, noting happens.

Googling around the web, I find that it is supposed to produce a .ps
file, to be printed with Ghostview. However, nothing seems to be happening.

I even discovered some instructions on printing from the terminal, but I
can't seem to make that work. And one further problem, what set of
commands to I use to print, for instance, pages 106 to 108?

Thanks
