I've go one of those CPUs as well and am overclocking it (which makes it bit
hotter than normal). According to AMDs tech doc from this URL
http://www.amd.com/K6/k6docs/index.html
the 400MHz CPUs operating temperature is 0 to 60C (all others have 0-70C). So
you should be fine for another 10 degrees

I wouldn't, unless it makes the room hot. :-)
Comparing to other parts, my Voodoo3500TV card certainly runs as hot as 70C -
doesn't seem to cause a problem so far as long as the PS fan runs.
