Faxing Exploits?

Has anyone ever heard of any exploits or vulnerabilities that can take place
over a fax modem? I want to set up some faxing for our office through a
Linux server using mgetty and sendfax (or something like that) and just
wanted to check on the possibility of someone causing trouble by dialing up
our fax server.
