Kerberos and Microsoft dirty tricks

I found an interesting article describing the stink
taking place on slashdot.org. There is an article
on www.salon.com saying that Microsoft is
up to their old "embrace and extend" tricks with windows 2k
and this authentication method.
Gee, Someone there has cojones the size of church bells
to be trying this with the DOJ breathing down Microsoft's
collective neck.
