  BE CAREFUL WITH PINE-SOL!!!!

I have ruined a couple of shells with this stuff. It is a really great
paint remover but used full strength it can seriously damage a plastic
shell. What I do to reduce its strength is to dilute it 50:50 with rubbing
alcohol and leave the shells in the solution for only about an hour at a
time. Then rub off the paint with an old tooth brush dipped liberally in
rubbing alcohol ... do *not* use water until all of the paint is off. If
the paint does not all come off first time soak for another hour.
